He's coming.....

He's coming with a vengence
He's coming for a fight
I know he's gonna hurt me
Just to make things right

I will remain standing
I won't feel the pain
Even as he drowns me
In the fury of his reign

I won't run and hide
Yet I won't stand and fight
Cause I know that I deserve this
As he approaches in the night

The sharpness of his tongue
It cuts like a blade
And I can't help but reel back
To hide away in the shade

But pretty soon I feel it
The roughness of his grip
He thrusts me to the ground
And the tears start to slip

I lose it and beg for mercy
I beg him to let me free
But his ears are clogged with fury
And his eyes just cannot see

"Help me!" I scream allowed
To all those within my sight
But they know this is my lesson
They know that this is right

I've had a wall of lies around
For oh so very long
But onw it all tumbles down
As I see where I went wrong

He raises his fist up high
To deal his final blow
And after one last spit of disgust
He ends all I know
